By using our website, requesting a quote, or arranging services through us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, subject to applicable law.

1. Scope of Services

Car Shipping Concierge provides information and assistance relating to vehicle transportation, including:

  • Open Car Transport
  • Enclosed Car Transport
  • Door-to-Door Auto Transport
  • State-to-State Auto Transport

The specific services available for a shipment depend on the vehicle, route, requested dates, carrier availability, and agreed service arrangements.

Depending on the transaction, Car Shipping Concierge may act as a transportation broker, an intermediary, a service coordinator, or another role identified in the applicable agreement. The identity and legal responsibilities of the parties involved should be confirmed before a shipment is booked.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and the conditions known at the time of preparation.

Pricing may depend on route distance, vehicle dimensions, vehicle condition, transport method, pickup and delivery accessibility, timing, fuel costs, carrier availability, and other relevant factors.

A preliminary quote is not necessarily a confirmed booking or a guaranteed final price. The applicable written quote or service agreement will specify the price, included services, payment terms, and any permitted adjustments.

Customers must provide accurate information about their vehicles, addresses, preferred dates, and special requirements. Material differences between the information supplied and the actual shipment may require revised arrangements or pricing, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.

No additional charge should be assumed or imposed outside the applicable agreement and lawful authorization.

3. Booking and Scheduling

A booking is considered confirmed when the required acceptance, information, and payment or deposit conditions specified in the applicable agreement have been satisfied.

Pickup and delivery dates may be estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Transportation schedules can be affected by weather, traffic, road restrictions, mechanical issues, route conditions, carrier availability, and other circumstances outside the reasonable control of the parties.

Customers should remain available for communications concerning pickup and delivery and provide accurate contact information.

If the requested pickup location is inaccessible or unsafe for a transport truck, an alternative nearby location may be necessary. Any material change to the agreed service should be communicated to the customer.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate vehicle details and contact information.
  • Disclosing whether the vehicle runs and drives.
  • Identifying modifications, low ground clearance, oversized dimensions, leaks, mechanical problems, and other conditions that may affect loading or transportation.
  • Removing personal belongings and prohibited items unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed and legally permitted.
  • Preparing the vehicle according to the carrier’s instructions.
  • Being available, or appointing an authorized representative, for pickup and delivery.
  • Reviewing the vehicle condition report and applicable transport documents.
  • Paying agreed charges according to the applicable terms.

Failure to provide accurate information or comply with agreed preparation requirements may affect scheduling, loading, pricing, or the availability of service.

5. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

Customers should document their vehicle’s condition before pickup using photographs and a written inspection where available.

The driver and customer should review the applicable vehicle condition report or bill of lading at pickup and delivery. Existing damage should be recorded accurately.

Customers should inspect the vehicle promptly upon delivery. If damage or another discrepancy is discovered, they should document it, notify the appropriate transportation party, and follow the applicable claim procedures and deadlines.

Signing a delivery document may have legal consequences. Customers should read it carefully and record any observed damage or unresolved discrepancy before signing where the document and applicable law permit.

6. Insurance and Liability

Insurance coverage, exclusions, deductibles, limits, and claims procedures depend on the responsible transportation provider, the applicable policy, and the governing agreement.

Customers should request and review relevant carrier insurance information before shipment. They should not assume that every type of loss, personal belonging, mechanical issue, cosmetic condition, or delay is covered.

Car Shipping Concierge will describe its role and any applicable coverage information as accurately as reasonably possible. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

7. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Payment obligations, deposits, cancellation fees, refund eligibility, and any balance due are governed by the quote and service agreement applicable to the booking.

Customers should review these terms before confirming a shipment. Any cancellation request should be submitted using the contact information provided above, preferably in writing.

Refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to the agreement and applicable law. No universal cancellation fee, refund period, or payment schedule is established by this general website policy.

8. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Control

Transportation may be affected by severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, vehicle breakdowns, emergencies, labor disruptions, and other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

When such events occur, the relevant parties should communicate material changes to the schedule and work toward reasonable alternatives where possible.

Nothing in this section excuses a party from obligations that remain enforceable under applicable law.

9. Website Use

Website content is provided for general informational purposes. Visitors agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We may update website content, service descriptions, and these Terms as needed, subject to applicable law. Changes to a confirmed booking will be governed by the applicable agreement and legal requirements.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, design elements, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Car Shipping Concierge.

Visitors may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of protected material without permission is prohibited except where allowed by law.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may refer to third-party websites, payment services, or transportation providers. Those parties may operate under separate terms and privacy policies.

Car Shipping Concierge is not responsible for third-party website content or practices except to the extent required by applicable law or an express agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, any limitation of liability will apply only as allowed by applicable law and the relevant agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer protections or liability for intentional misconduct where such limitations are prohibited.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable federal and California law, together with any other laws that must apply to the particular transaction.

Any dispute resolution procedure, forum, or jurisdiction must comply with applicable law and any enforceable agreement between the parties. Nothing in this section removes rights that consumers may have under mandatory law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued website use after a revision may indicate acceptance where legally valid. Changes to existing bookings remain subject to the applicable contract and law.
